Long Weekend Break in Wales
On 28th October 2005 14 families joined us for a long weekend break at the Jane Hodges Resort, Trerhyngyll, Wales. This is a purpose built hotel for people with disabilities which has become a regular venue for the group. Lynne Taylor, the Contact Family for the area, arranged for us to take part in a local Saturday morning club for the disabled, where our children took part in the fun and games. The hotel kindly booked entertainment for a couple of evenings but we also held our own quiz night with each of the families providing 10 questions. As we were there for Halloween everyone was encouraged to dress up and a 'spooky' evening was had by all.
