Bewl Water 2008
Excellent weather this July for our annual sailing day. With the support of Mariners of Bewl (MOB) the sailing for the disabled part of Bewl Valley Sailing Club we had a day out picnicking, sailing and exploring the beautiful surroundings of the Bewl Valley Reservoir. We brought out our own trimaran, The Triad, specially cleaned up for the day, and MOB provided a safety boat, and took our members out on the water in their lugger, Sheerwater, and the flat-bottomed landing-craft. Most took a trip around the lake in
the Swallow motor cruiser.
