We are delighted to announce that, for the second year running, we are once again able to offer a European holiday for our families at Le Fosso, near the city of Rennes in Brittany. Full details can be found on their website www.lefosso.com. Le Fosso is fully accessible and equipment such as hoists or electric beds can be hired in locally. There should be no language barriers as English speaking staff will be on hand. You will also have the option of taking part in some organised activities such as a trip to Rennes, if you wish. Please note that we may have to accommodate some families in the village, which is about 1 km away, if the accommodation at Le Fosso is oversubscribed.
The cost of the holiday is being subsidised by the DFSG and will be £101.50 per person for the week, half board. Children aged 13 years and under will cost £91. Each family will be responsible for their own travel arrangements but we are able to subsidise travel costs by 50%. If you need help with paying for the holiday, your local Social Services Department or an organisation such as the Family Fund (0845 130 4542) might be able to help.
If you would like to book, please return the booking form to Christina Biggs at the above address with a cheque for £50 per person as a deposit, payable to DFSG as soon as possible please. The remaining amount will be due by Monday, 30 March 2009. You are advised to book early as places are limited and offered on a first come first served basis.
Supplementary Charges: to be paid in euros at the end of your stay (if used or hired). Laundry service at 4.00€ per machine wash or dry. Hire of specialist equipment, e.g. hoist, medical bed, etc. Please ask for a quotation. Accommodation will be available from 3pm on the day of arrival. Please be sure to vacate it by 10am on the day of departure.
