DFSG Committee meetings usually take place on Sunday afternoons at the Holiday Inn, Brentwood (jcn 28 of the M25). We are always looking for new committee members and if you would be interested please contact the Secretary, Ann Patterson, for further details. Also, all members of the DFSG may attend any of these meetings.
National Conference 2009

The DFSG conference and AGM, (Saturday and Sunday, 6 and 7 June 2009) offers a varied weekend, with an emphasis on the management of Duchenne muscular dystrophy and coping with the practicalities of day to day living. On Saturday, the day will include a presentation on the latest research and the progress of clinical trials, plus information on the planned new Neuromuscular Centre at Newcastle. On Sunday, you will have a chance to see demonstrations and talks by various equipment providers, including what we hope will be the highlight of the morning, a presentation and demonstration by Dogs for the Disabled.
