NEXT STEPS – WHAT TO DO NOW
Once families have been notified, a finalised schedule incl timings, hotel location details and programme contact points will be emailed
NOTE
Priority is given to young people (boys & girls) who have NOT been the recipient of either a unique Muscle Dream or one of the charity's Muscle Dream programmes in the last 2 years (24 months)– as with all Muscle Dream activities, our beneficiary audience are children and young people in the UK suffering from the muscle wasting disease, Muscular Dystrophy and allied neuromuscular conditions.
FILMING & PHOTOGRAPHY
This programme may be filmed and photographed from start to finish
The charity will require written consent by parents for those under 18yrs
Appropriate consent forms will be provided
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Detailed accommodation arrangements will be made for each beneficiary and their chosen companion to stay-overnight at the London Marriott Hotel Twickenham
PLEASE NOTE – whilst we will do everything in our power to ensure that beneficiaries & their families have a comfortable stay, the charity is unable to provide any equipment and/or mobility aids i.e. Portable hoist systems, transfer boards, respirators, bed-risers (aka elephant feet), mattress toppers, pressure relief cushions, wheelchair chargers etc.
We will however ensure that for example the hotel room is (if required) accessible i.e. meaning, that there is a wet-room / level access bathroom where possible, that the bed configuration (whether DB/TW etc) is appropriate and that if a portable hoist system is brought by a family, that there is sufficient clearance underneath the bed – we have a significant experience working with different hotel operators and as such, we will work closely with each family to ensure the best possible accommodation solution is achieved
We look forward to receiving your nominations
Yours in rugby … and best of luck!!
